reservations required by July 25th

1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Workshop Overview:
Learn the basics of papermaking—and prepare to get your feet wet. We’ll take a walk through Lana’s field to gather grasses and other pretty things, then return to the garden shed to incorporate our natural goodies into hand-crafted papers. You’ll go home with a few sheets of your own one-of-a-kind creations. It’s a recipe for fun!  Exquisite desserts and world class tea included for your enjoyment during the workshop. Your experience will include your art work created in the workshop and materials to take home to work independently, if desired.

Fee:
$64 per person plus 8% tax

Reservations:
Reservations accepted until July 25 2007.  Non refundable prepayment required by July 25, 2007.

After the Workshop:  At the close of the 3 hour workshop event, enjoy shopping in the “little” Gift Shop for exquisite teas, memorable scones and more. Also, Lana’s Cottage Tour is available by advance special request for an additional fee, if desired.

About the Workshop Presenter:

Sara Baker Michalak's joint interests in nature and art merge in the workshops and other programs she offers.  Her presentations encourage each of us to celebrate our region's natural diversity while fostering our own connection with nature. Sara has exhibited her artworks widely, and is an art instructor for individuals with developmental disabilities. She writes and publishes essays and articles about the natural world, specializing in wildflowers native to the region.
