Personal autobiography: memoir
Saturday, October 6, 2007 - 20 Seats Available
reservations required by September 6th
1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Composing a memoir is rooted in a process of self-discovery. Let’s spend some time fleshing out the life experiences that identify who we are. Through reading, meditation,
and guided journaling, we will compose prose reflections. A special feature of this workshop will be discussion of possibilities for focusing participant’s writing.
We can constructively comment upon each other’s work, and as time permits, critique up to five pages of each participant’s previously submitted work (optional). Bring a
favorite pen and journal as well as work that you’d like critiqued. Exquisite desserts and world class tea included for your enjoyment during the workshop.
Fee: $59 per person plus 8% tax
Reservations: Reservations accepted until September 6, 2007. Non refundable prepayment required by September 6, 2007. Space is limited to 20 guests. Call
