During
August, 2003 the roof required staining. Dustin managed and completed the
project. There is a "special" ladder from the prior owners used to reach
the peaks of the roof. The angles of the various section of the cottage
roof are at perilous angles. Lana took the following photos. These
photos will also serve as a guide for ladder placement for future years of
roof staining. The roof stain is a mixture of peppercorn and cobalt
blue. It took hours of evaluation to determine how to place the ladder
for the last section of work.
